In Memory of Diego Maradona

Last week, the world lost a superstar. A true force to be reckoned with on the field, and an international favourite, whether you’re a sport fan or not – Diego Maradona was beloved for both his ability and his personality. On the 25th of November 2020, he died from a heart attack aged 60, and fans the world over mourned his passing.

As a sporting platform we at Gravity Stars felt it was proper to acknowledge him. A superstar both as a second striker and an attacking midfielder, Maradona was known for using his unique physique to fill a niche that many players couldn’t hope to keep up with, ducking and weaving, toppling giants.

In this time of mourning, as we enter the last days of the wretched year of 2020, we take time to express what we’re feeling with some of the sombre tracks from our partner Blue Pie, who also wish to extend their sorrow by painting what they’re feeling through their specialty, music. Lows and highs, happy and sad, good moods and bad.
